
Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has sent a strong message to creatives in the music industry, stating that while not every talent will withstand the test of time, he is confident his own will.
The rapper, known for his unique sound and bold persona, opened up on his journey in the industry and his unshakable belief in his relevance.
In a recent series of tweets, Blaqbonez recalled an incident from 2017 when an up-and-coming rapper, who had recently signed to Olamide’s YBNL Nation, mocked him in a freestyle.
The rapper, whose identity Blaqbonez did not reveal, made a disparaging remark about his future in the industry, claiming that Blaqbonez would never succeed.
