A resurfaced throwback video of embattled gospel singer Oluwatimileyin Ajayi is making rounds online amid his shocking scandal.
On Monday, January 13, 2025, news broke of Ajayi’s arrest in Agwan Sarki, Orozo—a border area between Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)— after being found in possession of his girlfriend’s severed head.
Acting on a tip-off, security agents reportedly raided an uncompleted building where the suspect had allegedly carried out the gruesome act.
The video captures community members interrogating Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, who shockingly confessed to the crime during the exchange.
In response to the scandal, Nigerians have unearthed an old video of Ajayi sharing words of encouragement.
In the clip, he dismissed the notion that “village people” can hinder one’s progress, emphasizing that only the individual determines their success. Ajayi encouraged people to persevere, overcome challenges, and continue breaking new ground despite obstacles.
