Nigerian musician Idris Adisa has disclosed the events that transpired between him and well-known performer Wasiu Ayinde. He claims that Wasiu refused to let him into his home and stopped returning his calls, despite his promise to take him overseas.

In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Oyinmomo TV during an interview, he made it known that Wasiu Ayinde did not allow him to enter his house, saying that he stopped answering his calls after he promised to take him abroad.

In his statement, he said, “Wasiu Ayinde told me that he was going for a year-long tour in America, and he promised to take me with him for three months, but two months before the tour, he suddenly changed his attitude towards me. Wasiu Ayinde didn’t allow me to enter his house, and he stopped answering my calls. Despite what he did to me, I wasn’t offended because I believed he didn’t have time for me at that moment, but now I believe he would have time to fulfill his promises to me.”

“When I was in secondary school, I started music professionally. I used to follow musicians to play at events. At that time, I was happy because I was doing something I loved, so I would go with professional musicians to perform at events in the morning, afternoon, and even at night. However, this started affecting my secondary school education because I would often sleep in class during lectures,” he recounted.

Despite the challenges, Adisa’s dedication to music eventually paid off. He was able to help his siblings through the money he made from music.

When I focused on my music, I was able to earn some money, which I used to take care of my siblings,” he added.
