Nigerian singer and songwriter Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere, popularly known as Fave, has sent a strong message to people who supported President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and voted for him during the last election in 2023.
The singer, who seems frustrated with the ongoing economic crisis in Nigeria, was captured in a viral video where she threw shade at the supporters of Tinubu.
Fave gained recognitions after her verse on singer Jinmi Abdul’s produced free beat became an internet sensation specifically on Twitter. She released several minute-long videos on Twitter during the COVID-19 lockdown.
In 2022, she won Rookie of the Year at The Headies and received nominations for Most Promising Artist and Best Artist in African Reggae, Dancehall at the All Africa Music Awards. Additionally, she was nominated for Best New Artiste at the 2022 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival.
Giving her opinions on Tinubu’s administration, the 24-year-old singer revealed that people that voted for the president are very senseless.
In her words, “I can’t believe anyone in their right senses will get to the poll and said Oh I want to vote for Tinubu. Fvck you”.
