Following Nigerian pastor Pastor E.A. Adeboye’s public apologies for his remark on tithing, social media users are responding.
In a video captured online, the Redeemed Christian Church of God founder admitted that his statement saying those who don’t pay tithe wouldn’t make heaven is wrong as it isn’t stated in the Bible. He noted how what the Bible talks about is following peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see God.
His apology was well received by netizens who praised him for his maturity.
