Sonia Adesuwa, the ex-wife of Nigerian footballer Jude Ighalo, has sent a message to married couples in Lagos.
Taking to her Instagram story, she admonished them to always wear their wedding rings as she noted how it is a symbol of their commitment to their significant other and a public statement to total strangers.
She stressed that they should stop confusing singles out there.
“Married people in Lagos, please always wear your wedding rings. They are a symbol of commitment to your significant other and a public statement to total strangers. Stop confusing singles out there.
At least make e dey easy for us to know how many of us remain”.
A few months back, Sonia had hailed Jude for being a good father after he melted her heart with his grand gesture. She recounted how she was craving Kilishi at 1 pm, and she had told the footballer about it.
To her surprise, he sent one of his boys to Abuja to give her the Kilishi by plane. The sweet gesture undoubtedly melted her heart as Sonia advised ladies to find a good man for their unborn children.
In December, last year, Sonia had educated women on how to catch a man. Listing out the unique attributes of women that catch a man’s attention, she stated that if women apply this in their relationship, they will enjoy it.
Sonia got married to Jude Ighalo in 2009 but separated in 2020 after 10 years of marriage. Since their separation, the couple have been embroiled in social media drama as Sonia hasn’t refrained from taking shots at him.
Giving a hint to their split, she had accused BBNaija’s Uriel Oputa of sleeping with Jude Ighalo, which Uriel refuted.
Last year, she confirmed her marital stance with Jude, revealing that they separated in 2019 but got back in 2021 and pulled the plug in 2022 without his signature.
She claimed that the footballer crawled back again to her and she accepted because of the kids. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out because of his family.
