Moses Olarewaju, better known by his stage name Ayikondu, is a Yoruba actor. He has disclosed the truth about his relationship with musician Manny Monie, who broke a bottle on his head during a live social media video. He has also stated what he said to Monie that led to their disagreement.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Mtec TV during an interview, he made it known that he met singer Manny Monie drinking alcohol during Ramadan fasting, and he advised him to stop taking alcohol during Ramadan fasting, and the next thing he saw was that he had broken a bottle of alcohol on his head.
In his statement, he said, “About 3 weeks ago during Ramadan fasting, I went to a bar and I met Manny Monie with 8 bottles of alcohol, and I was surprised because it was during Ramadan fasting. Me and him were not really close, but I just liked his style of music. He told me to mind my own business, and I told him that I should be able to advise him as an elderly person. The next thing he did was go on social media and start recording our conversation, where he was giving me a warning that he would hurt me. Manny Monie broke a bottle on my head when I told him to stop taking alcohol during Ramadan. I was rushed to the hospital for treatment because I could have died because of the injury I sustained from the incident.”
