Renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has captivated his audiences during his highly-anticipated homecoming concert for his album, dubbed ‘HEIS’ which took place in his hometown, Benin City, Edo state.
The show, which took place at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, saw a massive turnout as fans across Nigeria stormed to watch the magic of the ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker perform live.
Rema, known for his electrifying stage performance, thrilled his fans with a grand entrance that left the crowd in awe, cheering wildly.
As soon as Rema hit the stage, the crowd erupted in excitement, chanting his name in unison. He kicked off the night with some of his biggest hits, including “Lady,” “HEIS,” “Holiday”, and many more. He stunned his audiences with his infectious energy and melodious voice.
His fans, visibly entertained, were seen shouting with excitement as they sang loudly along with the song word for word, resonating with every beat of the songs.
A standout moment of the night was when fellow Edo state born singer Shallipopi and his brother Zerry DL joined Rema on stage, and together they delivered an electrifying performance of their hit song, “Benin Boys.”
Nigerian singer, OdumoduBlvck also graced Rema’s homecoming concert to perform their collaborative hit track, ‘War Machine’, adding more excitement to the event.
