Some Nigerian youths have stormed Lagos Island on Monday, July 29th to rally against the Nationwide protest coming up on August 1st
A video making the rounds online has showed the moment the youths took the center stage on the street with a bold placard, stating ‘Say No to Protest’.
It is no more news that some Nigerians were planning to protest against the ongoing economic hardship in the country with the hashtag #EndbadgoveranceinNigeria.
The protest, which has been gaining traction online, has been scheduled to be held across all states of the federation as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, starting from August 1.
However, the youths coming from different locations converged in the Lagos Island area to show their support for the Tinubu-led administration, urging other young people to “shun violent protests”.
