Popular singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has sparked controversy online as he was crowned as the king of the streets by some Yoruba traditional rulers in Ore, Ondo State.

The Ogun-state born musician excitedly announced his new title with a new series of videos on his Instagram page. In the video, Portable rocked a cultural outfit with the rulers as they made a pronouncement on him before wearing him the crown, which was crested with his title.

They also wore him some beads as they shared what they felt about the Zazuu Zehh singer. Some netizens claimed that Portable paid the traditional rulers for the crown.

Some suggested that the traditional rulers might come to regret their decision, as Portable could still criticize them online. Beyond releasing songs, the Zeh Nation boss is notorious for clashing with his wives, colleagues, and neighbors, although he has resolved conflicts with some of them.

Another video showed popular Fuji maestro Taye Currency entertaining Portable and other attendees at the traditional ceremony in Ondo with his outstanding performance.
