US-based Barbadian artist Robyn Rihanna Fenty has recently begun to learn Yoruba, bringing joy to her fans.
A UK makeup artist, Damilola Adejonwo, or Senorfenty, posted a video on Instagram of Rihanna learning the language.
In the clip, while at a Fenty event, he teaches her to say “Mo wa pa,” which means “I’m fine.”
The makeup artist shared a video where he mentioned that he told Rihanna he is Nigerian and taught her some of the language. He wrote:
“Mo wa pa oooooo!!!!! I was telling Rihanna that I am Nigerian and she has to learn Yoruba , so I taught her mo wa pa which means I am doing welll & she wouldn’t stop saying it the entire time . That might be the next single 😂😂😂😂 she is such a vibe.”
