Afrobeats star Burna Boy stunned an MC with a generous N4 million cash gift after jokingly referring to himself as Cubana Chief Priest’s “abandoned brother.”
This act of generosity came amid Burna Boy’s ongoing online feud with socialite Cubana Chief Priest, which had earlier prompted the singer to gift Cubana’s actual brother $30,000.
At a recent event, the MC hosting the gathering playfully acknowledged Burna Boy’s entrance and humorously referred to himself as one of Cubana Chief Priest’s abandoned family members.
The MC continued the joke, claiming that Cubana had allegedly neglected him for seven years, calling him a “wicked individual” for doing so.
“Burna Boy, welcome sir. I be one of Cubana Chief Priest’s family wey e no take care of. Chief Priest abandoned me for seven years. He’s very wicked sir,” the MC disclosed playfully.
Responding, Burna Boy simply told the MC, “See me after the show.”
