Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke professionally known as Davido has taken to social media to react as his industry rival Wizkid displaces his song Awuke from number one with his new song Dance.
Wizkid born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun becomes one of the trending conversations online as his new song “Dance” off the Morayo album enters number one within 8 hours after its release.
The Wizkid track “Dance” however makes history as it becomes the fastest song in Nigeria to reach number one on Apple Music Nigeria. The singer had earlier a song called “Piece of My Heart” ft Brent Faiyaz off the forthcoming Morayo album.

Meanwhile, Davido took to his verified page on X, formerly known as Twitter, to react to Wizkid’s new song Dance hitting number one on Apple Music just eight hours after its release.
Unbothered by the development, Davido encouraged his fans on X to keep streaming his latest song, Awuke.
