Nigerian singer Lyta’s babymama, Kemi Ayorinde has thrown shade at him, hours after he got called out for wearing fake Ashluxe shirt.
Hitgist reported that the brand’s CEO, Yinka Ash called out the singer, by posting a screenshot from Lyta’s page, where the singer wore an allegedly fake version of an Ashluxe shirt, and apparently, tagged the original brand. In a tweet, Yinka Ash also sent out a warning to prospective fake designer buyers who had the audacity to tag him. He said he would call them out, and Lyta made the cut this time around.
Despite the humiliation, Lyta took to his Instagram story to show love to him. He stated that despite the ridicule, he still loves and supports the brand.
Reacting to it, his babymama, Kemi Ayorinde took to a blog’s comment to make mockery of him. She wrote, “Sorry for the laugh”.
She also took to her Instagram story, stating that the universe doesn’t do right by men who don’t do right by their kids.
“I always say “the universe doesn’t do right by men who don’t do right their kids”.
Recall that Kemi had claimed in an interview that since she fell pregnant and put to bed for the singer, he had only donated a total sum of forty thousand naira for her upkeep and that of the baby. The angry mother further revealed that she wasn’t crying out for the money because she could afford it, but she wanted Lyta to be involved in their son’s life at least once.
Kemi later revealed that Lyta apologized to her and the singer flew her and his son to Nigeria to spend quality time with them. Many thought that the couple had rekindled old flames and were back together for good, but unfortunately, that didn’t last long as the parents of one parted ways again for good.
Kemi Ayorinde has since moved on and is currently engaged.
Meanwhile, it has been a challenging time for Lyta, whose career took a down side after departing Olamide’s label, YBNL. Recall that Lyta had left Olamide‘s label in 2019. Speaking on it, he said he was given a music release calendar which was inconsistent with how often he intended dropping new songs.
Since his fallout with Olamide, the singer who had a lot of potential, especially after featuring Davido on Monalisa remix, has being struggling to stay in the industry. A few months back, Lyta was spotted performing at a local event. A Twitter user had shared a video of him performing at the event as he lamented over what he has become.
