Super Eagles forward Taiwo Awoniyi in a recent interview ignores popular Nigerian artistes Wizkid and Davido as he picks his favourite singer of all time in the country.
Taiwo Awoniyi from Kwara State, Nigeria who plays for top English side, Nottingham Forest Football Club made this known during an interview with Livescore.
This is coming after his colleague Ademola Lookman during his interview referred to Grammy Award winner Wizkid born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun as his favourite Nigerian artiste from Nigeria.
In the interview, Taiwo Awoniyi emphasized his preference for Nigerian cuisine and music over those of the United Kingdom. He mentioned that Nigeria’s weather is superior to that of the UK.
Awoniyi also stated that Nigeria is his favorite vacation destination and highlighted that the country has better football legends than England.
When discussing his favorite Nigerian musician, Taiwo Awoniyi selected Olamide over other Nigerian artists.
