The harrowing chain of events began when Timileyin Ajayi was arrested in Nasarawa, found carrying the severed head of his girlfriend, Salome Adaidu, concealed in a polythene bag.
Acting on a tip-off, security operatives tracked him to an uncompleted building in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, near the Federal Capital Territory, where they uncovered the shocking evidence of his crime.
Ajayi’s arrest unveiled a gruesome act so horrifying it has left an indelible scar on the nation’s collective conscience. During interrogation, he confessed to the murder, divulging chilling details that have horrified the public. He claimed they had been in a relationship for over a year, and the tragedy unfolded after a heated argument escalated when Adaidu allegedly attempted to stab him.
What followed was an unimaginable act of violence: a young life was cruelly taken, her body desecrated, and her remains treated with a level of disregard beyond comprehension.
Ajayi, who released his album God of the Earth in 2020, further revealed that the rest of Adaidu’s body was at his residence, adding another layer of horror to the already devastating crime.
