A video is making the rounds on social media that shows the moment an MC turns a man and a lady into a husband and wife at a big wedding.
In the video that has gone viral on Instagram, the MC shows off his match-making skills and captured the hearts of many with the way he matchmake the man and the lady during a wedding in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
According to the MC who is identified as MC Barms Ola, he was moved to do the matchmaking when the bride gifts her friend who happens to be the event planner, the bouquet. He said that following the development, he told the groom to call out his friend who had been single for a long time and the rest was history.
Flauting his matchmaking skills, the MC asked the guy and the lady about what they do for living, their religion, where they stay and their genotype.
In response, the lady said her name was Aminat, that she was an event planner making money, and she wasn’t in debt to anyone.
The guy while responding to the question said he was into apartments and construction, making money and he was not in debt to anyone.
Responding to the other questions, the lady says that she was a Muslim and she stays in Ibadan, Oyo State. The man also said that he is a Muslim and he stays in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Clearly aware of the progress, the MC tells them to move closer to each other and turn 45 degrees, and then he goes to ask about their genotypes.
The lady mentioned that she has an AC genotype, while the guy has an AA genotype. This news caused a frenzy among the wedding attendees, who were seen cheering them on as a new couple.
Immediately they found out that they are compatible, the MC moves on by making sure they have their first date at the wedding. He went on by donating N20K, the couple also donated N50K, best man gives out N10 stressing that if they didn’t marry, he would collect his money back, however, the groom’s father donated N50K making a total of N140K.
A moment later, the MC asked for their full name and went on by creating the hashtag for their wedding after the matchmaking. The hastag was named “#AmeetsA2025.”
A cleric came out to pray for them and wedding attended also trooped out to cheered the new match-makers up by spraying them money and celebrating with them.
The MC via his verified Instagram page wrote; “Match Making 101. The bride decided to give her event planner who is also her friend the bouquet instead of throwing it then I decided to channel my inner LEGE MIAMI. Told the groom to callout any of his friends that have been single for a very long time and the rest is history. Congratulations to them.
