Nigeria’s food and wine critic Opeyemi Famakin is in the new again following a new video of him criticising popular Nigerian singers Wizkid and Ayra Starr as well as American singer Brent Faiyaz.
In the clip, Wizkid alongside Brent Faiyaz and Ayra Starr were spotted having a conversation with themselves at the Bof event in Paris. Note that Wizkdi featured Brent Faiyaz in his new song “Piece of My Heart”.
As Wizkid, Brent Faiyaz, and Ayra Starr were talking they were spotted sipping champagne from the champagne flutes at the event, however this video did not perfectly go down well with food critic Opeyemi Famakin.
Speaking in the video, Opeyemi Famakin criticizes the three artistes for their way of holding Champagne flutes at the international fashion show.
This follows Opeyemi Famakin’s video review of Cubana Chief Priest’s restaurant in Imo State, where he praised the restaurant’s aesthetics but criticized the staff for their handling of pastries, particularly for microwaving a burger, which he noted should be served à la carte.
Opeyemi Famakin says in the video; “I’m seeing three people holding the Champagne flutes wrong, but I would only call two names. Ayra did not open it properly and the other guy that plaits his hair.”
However, many have wondered why the food critic cannot boldly mention the name of Wizkid who was the third person in the clip.
