An unidentified Nigerian woman has been caught after she allegedly murdered her own newborn baby because of her deep-seated dislike for her husband.
The disheartening incident, which took place at the nursing mother’s house, was captured in the video, and it sparked debates and discussions about postpartum (after birth) depression and wickedness.
It appeared that the infant’s body was found wrapped and hidden under her bed. In a video making the rounds online, the woman was seen carrying her dead baby as eyewitnesses walked out of her house.
According to sources, the woman, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, reportedly took the life of her child shortly after giving birth.
It was gathered that the new mother has some marital challenges with her husband, which led to disliking him, but sadly, the innocent child became a victim of this unresolved conflict.
The incident has sent shockwaves throughout the community, with many struggling to comprehend how such a tragedy could occur. Many revealed that the woman might not be mentally stable after giving birth (postpartum). Some revealed her act as a very wicked one.
