Nigerian singer and music producer John Saviours Udomboso, popularly known as Young John, has collaborated with Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye in his latest music video of his song ‘Stronger’.
Young John recently released his hit track ‘Stronger’ off his latest album, ‘Jiggy Forever Album’. The emotional song describes the feeling of feeling weak and vulnerable, but finally finding the strength to get up and move forward.
It is worth noting that the 29-year-old musician lost his mother, Comfort Udomboso, to cancer in 2019. The track is a tribute song to his mom, telling her about his successful journey in life wishing she was still with him.
Dropping the music video of the song, Young John teamed up with Bimbo Ademoye, known for her explicit acting stage along with popular ‘Far from home’ actor Emeka Nwagbaraocha and ‘Dark October’ actor Chuks Joseph. This stellar cast was brought together to vividly illustrate the heartfelt story of the song.
In the music video, Bimbo plays the role of the singer’s mother, who tragically dies in a car accident. Chuks Joseph portrays the careless driver responsible for the accident, while Emeka takes on the role of the singer, expressing his longing for his mother (played by Bimbo) to witness his success.
The video sparked reactions online as social media users could not stop hailing Bimbo Ademoye’s flawless acting. Some reactions are shown below:
