A video is making the rounds on the photo and video sharing platform Instagram that shows the moment a female corper publicly rejects the proposal of her boyfriend who sponsored her to school with his barber work.
In the clip. the female corper was spotted with her fellow corpers celebrating their passing out (POP) as they completed their one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
During this moment when the female corper and her colleagues were together at camp celebrating their POP in Ibadan Oyo-State, the boyfriend of the female corper decided to surprise her by proposing to her.
The boyfriend from Calabar who worked as a barber was seen on bended knees as well as a ring proposing to his girlfriend who just completed her NYSC.
Upon seeing her boyfriend on bended knees with a ring, this development did not sit down well with the female corper as she wasted no time in dragging him from the bended state to an upright manner.
The female corper tackled her boyfriend as she questioned her boyfriend on he decided to do such on her POP and the boyfriend responded by saying “I came here to propose, show you how much I love you, I want to marry you.”
Responding in a loud manner, the female corper said that she spends 5years in the University and used 1year to do NYSC, she can never end up marrying a barber in her life.
The boyfriend reacted by recalling how she paid her school fees when she gained admission, and pays her house rent among other bills noting that he gave up his education because of her.
Clapping back at him, the female corper said that she appreciated all his efforts in her life, but that did not give him reason to propose to her, as she would never marry a barber.
She also went on to tackle her boyfriend for proposing to her with just an ordinary ring adding that her mates collect diamond rings from their boyfriends.
In her words; “I’m sorry, I’m not going to marry you what is this, look at the ring, your mate are giving diamond ring this should be the first and the last time you will do such.”
At this moment, the boyfriend went back on his knees trying to beg her to accept proposal but she declined as she revealed that she is ready to pay back all the money he has spent on her within one year.
She said; “If you want your money back tell me, I will return it within one year.”
She angrily slammed the ring on the boyfriend and left the place, a development that left other corp members in shocked state. Watch the clip below;

A young hardworking guy will wake up and sponsor an ingrate girl on education and at the end she will open eye and discovered the guy doesn’t worth having her again .. anyways it’s just an eyes opener for guys , if you earn a lot of money buy Dog or Cat and spend on them .. Some people forget that education is just one path to success,skills and talents are just as valuable. The fact that he invested in her future, helping her achieve her Goals, only for her to dismiss him because of his career and a ring is deeply ungrateful.
