“This is so sad” – Heartbreaking video of kidnapped Afenifere youth leader crying for help to raise N100m ransom trends online (Video)

A heartbreaking video of the National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni making a desperate appeal for financial assistance after being kidnapped by gunmen over N100 million ransom has gone viral online.

In the video, a kidnapper can be seen pointing an AK-47 at Ojajuni’s chest as he appeals to the public for financial assistance to secure his release.

An exhausted and visibly distressed Ojajuni called on Nigerians to contribute whatever they could to save his life.

In his words, “Nigerians, please help me! Your donation—N100,000, N50,000, or N1,000,000—can go a long way in saving my life,” he pleaded in the video. “My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help me spread this video.”

Eniola Ojajuni, was abducted by unknown gunmen in Abuja since February 17, according to a statement by the National Secretary of the council, Abiodun Aderohunmu. The abductors demanded the whopping sum of N100 million before 3pm on Monday, February 24th.

It is worth noting that Afenifere is a socio-cultural organization for the Yoruba people of Nigeria, with Chief Abraham Adesanya as its leader and Chief Bola Ige as deputy leader.
