remains of famous Nigerian singer Onyeka Onwenu, popularly known as Elegant Stallion, have been relocated from Reddington Hospital in Lagos, where she was pronounced dead.
The Elegant Stallion, known for her loud voice and advocacy, apparently died on the night of July 30.
The news of her death surfaced after she fainted at Mrs. Stella Okoli’s 80th birthday party, where she had previously performed.
Emergency medical personnel took her to the hospital, but efforts to rescue her were futile. A black ambulance is seen leaving the hospital in viral NTA footage uploaded on social media.
Voices in the video indicate that the van was transporting the renowned singer’s remains.
