An emotional video circulating on social media shows Agidigbo FM CEO, Oriyomi Hamzat, in tears as an 18-year-old girl shares her heartbreaking story.
The girl revealed that she lost her mother after becoming pregnant while attempting to raise money for her mother’s operation, moving many viewers, including Hamzat, to tears.
The 18-year-old girl narrated that she never knew her father, as her mother raised her and her 20-year-old brother as a single parent. When her mother fell ill and needed ₦80,000 for surgery, she sought help from family members but received no assistance.
The girl explained that in her desperate attempt to raise the ₦80,000 needed for her mother’s operation, a neighbor promised to help but got her pregnant instead.
She eventually gave birth, but tragically, her mother passed away before the surgery could happen. After her mother’s death, the man fled, leaving her alone with a four-month-old baby. She also shared that her landlord has since evicted her, leaving her stranded and homeless.
