Veteran Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko has received several backlashes after he shared his thoughts on the current government and voting rights In a recent interview with content creator IsBae U
Jide Kosoko, who was a guest in the latest episode in ‘Curiosity made me ask’, said that no one was forced to vote for President Tinubu, and that he himself voted for him willingly.
The veteran actor went on to say that President Tinubu was working well, and that of only people understood what it meant to repair a country, they would appreciate him.
Isbae U also asked Jide Kosoko if he voted for Tinubu because he is Yoruba and likes to wear ‘Agbada’. The actor responded that he voted for Tinubu because he has known him for a long time.
Jide Kosoko also stated that the democracy Nigerians enjoy today is due to President Tinubu being among those who fought for it.
However, the veteran actor’s expression of admiration for Tinubu did not go over well with many people, as they criticized him for openly supporting the President.
