Renowned music sensation, Ibrahim Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has made headlines once again following a new video of him and his industry rival, Davido took over the internet space.
The two Afrobeat stars were spotted together at the same nightclub in London amid their recent brouhaha. In the video, Davido is seen with his 30BG crew, including prominent individuals like UK-based Nigerian pastor Tobi Adegboyega and well-known UK promoter Badguytoba. The group occupied one side of the fine dining lounge.
Wizkid, who just released a new single on Friday, October 18, 2024, as part of the promotional lead-up to his highly anticipated album Morayo, was seated across the venue.
The video showed that the two snubbed each other and did not engage in any conversation while having some nice time in the club. The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner was captured walking out of the club with his crew members.

In no time, Wizkid took to his X handle to address his recent encounter with Davido at the club.
He wrote, “Everybody Dey find Big Wizzy 😏🩶🦅,” suggesting that it was Davido who was seeking to connect with him, fueling another round of tension between the two stars.
Wizkid and Davido have been at odds since they both rose to fame. Their rivalry escalated recently when Wizkid lashed out at Davido, insulting him and claiming that Davido’s career was subpar. Wizkid also remarked that the people around Davido were broke, yet they continued to follow him around and travel with him to various countries.
In another tweet, Wizkid stated that Davido couldn’t match him in terms of music, fashion, or wealth. He further mocked Davido, saying that despite being called “001,” he was just sitting at home and didn’t earn more than anyone else in the music industry.
