FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, currently 56 years old, has sparked online reactions as netizens uncovered a photo of him from about eight years ago.
Before becoming the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, Nyesom Wike was already known as one of Nigeria’s most influential politicians.
Nyesom Wike previously served as the governor of Rivers State for eight years between 2015 to 2023. He was also a former Minister of State for Education as he was in the office between 14 July 2011 – April 2014.
Known for his prominence and controversial nature in the Nigerian political space, netizens recently dished out an 8-year ago photo of Nyesom Wike and compared it with his present 56-year-old as an FCT minister.
The two photos were shared on the official Instagram page of celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut and it has triggered many reactions as some claimed that Nyesom Wike is aging faster than Nigeria even though he is still 56 years old.
