Nigerian music producer and CEO of Mavins Records, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has caused a stir online by ending his beef with Afrobeat sensation Wizkid.

The reconciliation began when Wizkid, whose real name is Ibrahim Ayodeji Balogun, took to his X page (formerly known as Twitter) to retweet Mavin signee Ayra Starr’s newly released album, The Year I Turn 21. Wizkid promoted the 15-track record by sharing the album link and cover photo on his timeline.

Ayra Starr released her second studio album, The Year I Turn 21, on May 31st, and it has been making waves online. Wizkid, known for his trailblazing songs, further boosted her album’s visibility by promoting it to his followers.

Don Jazzy was thrilled by Wizkid’s kind gesture towards Ayra Starr. He expressed his gratitude in the comments section, replying, “Thanks big Wiz.”

This appreciation message comes weeks after Wizkid, often referred to as Machala, had previously berated Don Jazzy by calling him an influencer. The public exchange of gratitude marks a positive turn in their relationship, signaling an end to their feud.
