A video of Niger State Governor Mohammed Bago telling his security aides to slap and arrest an Islamic cleric has surfaced online and by extension sparked several reactions online.
In the video that has gone viral across social media platforms, the Niger State Governor Mohammed Bago was at a recent gathering and that was just the beginning.
The executive governor of Niger State keeps on dishing out his speech and moment later he swift to the other side telling one of his aides to slap the Islamic cleric.
Mohammed Bago who seems to be power drunk at the moment fumes so hard while holding the microphone instructing the security aide to slap the Islamic cleric.
One of the security aides responded by slapping the Islamic cleric. Mohammed Bago was not satisfied with the slap and orders the aide to slap the Islamic cleric again and he wasted no time in landing another slap on the Islamic cleric.
As if that was not enough, the governor tells his security aides to get the Islamic cleric arrested and they did not by dragging him away from the gathering.
This development by the Niger State Governor Mohammed Bago did not sit well with many social media users as they criticized him, telling the governor that he did not preach Islam, the peaceful religion.
